Mama don't like no fritos in a bowl

This is one of "Five folksy, context-free catch phrases you are encouraged to spread with friends and co-workers". This frito one had me crying! You can see rest of the list here and check out the other lists here. This is one funny site. Check it out. You won't regret it! And oh...............I absolutely encourage all to spread this phrase! I've tried it a few times and the looks I've gotten are priceless!

I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

Yesterday me and my sugar shopped around for my tatoo. It will be my first and I didn't get it but at least know where I would or WOULDN'T go when I'm finally ready to take the plung. Should I mind that he gave me this T-shirt and let me know it used to belong to his ex? Hell, no! It was free!

I shoulda been a rock star!

I swore I would NEVER get these eyeglass thingies that wrap around your neck. What are they called, anyway? When I saw these, I HAD to have them. They are really cool except when you think you have them around your neck and don't. Take them off - they end up on the ground. Then you really don't look cool at all! Kinda fun, though!

I FOUGHT THE LAW AND THE...........oh, the hell with it!

It took 8 months to get to me and it was marked "extremely urgent". It came overnight, Fed Ex and my sister had to sign for it because it was also "certified, return receipt". It's a long story but 5 pages later I see I can either forfeit the property or file a claim against the goverment to get it. So........I'll spare you taxpayers the cost for and ongoing battle and let them have it. It's value - $10.00 and you can see where I got it by clicking the title link.
For your future reference the "property" is:
"in violation of Title 18 USC, Section 1341, 1343 and 2342 and Administrative forteiture proceddings have aleady commenced in accordance with the provisions of 18 USC 3051 (c), 19 USC SS 1602-1618 and 18 USC SS 983"

Once again, I have escaped the long arm of the law!

Rock on, little one!

My niece just got back from the Bonaroo Festival In Tennessee.(She's my God Daughter and takes after me.) Check out this line-up including but not limited to The Allman's, Ratdog, DMB, Bela Fleck, Trey, Toots and on and on! Wish I could have been there. Gone are the days, but they sure were great. Maybe I can make it to The Gathering of the Vibes. Anyway, she bought back this beautiful "vase". I hope she gets many enjoyable years out of it.

AKA: "The Barf Scarf"
Please, no bidding allowed. I have already sent it off to the one person in the world who will truely appreciate it. MY MOM!

Thank you......for a real good time!

While I am not a musician, I am one of the most Deadicated fans a band could have. A friend who sings back up vocals once told me if she had jut one fan like me, she would be thrilled. That being said, I am honored to be a guest blogger for Jenny May at Bar Blog Not only does she host a great blog but she is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter with The Babylon Cowboys. I am grateful to be given an opportunity to pay tribute to Jerry Garcia as we approach the 10 year anniversary of his death on Aug. 9th.

Amazing what $3.50 and a little paint can do

I've owned a lot of sneakers in my day but I've never had a pair that people actually take the time to compliment. I've had three separate occasions where total strangers have walked up to me on the street to compliment them and a dozen more in the workplace. I guess I have more fashion sense than I thought!

Get your hand out of that jar!

I swear when I left for work yesterday, my chocolate jar was filled to just about that pencil line. When I came home, it appeared as if at least 10 pieces were.........gone. Just disappeared. I keep a very close eye on my chocolate, even though I live alone. Wait! I live alone so how did that happen? I'll tell you how it happened! It was so FRIGGIN' HOT in here that it melted down! Had to put it in the fridge for a bit just to bring some life back to it. Today, the A/C stays on ALL DAY!

You talkin' to ME?

"The ultimate truth of jigsaw puzzles: despite appearances, puzzling is not a solitary game; every move the puzzler makes, the puzzle-maker has made before; every piece the puzzler picks up, and picks up again, and studies and strokes, every combination he tries, and tries a second time, every blunder and every insight, each hope and each discouragement have all been designed, calculated, and decided by the maker." (Georges Perec)

I like to do jigsaws puzzles. It was a family activity growing up. Sometimes, they can really get the best of me and I normally talk to myself AND the pieces.

Frequently said to the little b_stards:
You've got to be kidding me!
Are you serious?
How could you not go there?

And to myself:
I am SO good at this.
What are you thinking?
I hate doing the sky.

Hey, what's a girl to do when she's home alone? Consider the alternatives!
