After 30 years of working on my feet!
It's been hard adjusting to working in a cubicle, tethered to a headset all day. And I do mean, all day! I keep myself entertained by working out with small weights, knitting (need the practice) and eating chocolate. And, oh yeah, talking on the phone! (You'd think they could pipe some tunes into that head thingy!)
Helen, 8:07 PM
I just realized you write more than one blog. How do you fidn the time?????
To get adjusted to your cubicle spin around in your chair while shouting there's no place like home, there's no place like home.
Umm....take off the headset first....
I could give you an extension to my place of work. Call up and you can listen to an endless loop of "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head".
Nah, maybe not. After a few hours...you would probably jab those knitting needles into your ears.
Oh, Helen... I learned early in my working career that my body is physically incapable of being on its feet all day, so I've always had a desk job, of sorts. I go on site visits for clients. Was the change from on your feet to cubicle a good and desired one?
