The Egg Thing

Happy Summer Solstice on this, the first day of summer. If you are going to do the egg thing, you might want to check this out first. Not a joke but an equinoctial experiment. Science never really was my thing but I found it interesting.
For the lighter side, check out the world's egg balancing record. Have a great day! I'm going to scramble up some eggs!

Was just up in Michigan this weekend and my father-inlaw was talking about that. I had never heard of it. Pretty cool.
Nice BLOOOOOOOOOOG
It's a myth. The egg thing is not true.
Happy Winter Soltice, which was yesterday, since we are in winter here in Australia

Hope you are having a fantastic day and summer

((((Hugs))))
This is equivalent to the myth that water runs down the drain clockwise in the northern hemisphere and counterclockwise in the southern hemisphere.

Despite the fact that this is the easiest myth in the world to disprove (duh, just try it a few times), a large number of people believe this to be true.
Angel and TJ are right on both issues.

Did you know that you can tell a hardboiled egg by spinning it on its end? This IS true. A raw egg (in the shell, of course) will not spin. Try it.
BTW - Help on the way....
I think I'm just gonna crack an egg on my forehead.
Good plan, Jane. Will you be posting pics???
