You can take the girl out of Jersey but you can't take the Bruce out of the girl!
Magic is wonderful.
My expectations were not high as I listened, for no particular reason.
I love this CD.
He really is the boss, still.

You have no idea what a nice surprise it was to come here & see your little person walking in circles. Yeah!! You are here!!
I put this blog on my blogroll instead of the other one.
*smooch*
Never do I buy new CDs unless it's an official Dead release ... but I bought Magic. No matter where I am, where I'm living, what trail I'm hiking, what mountain I'm climbing, what country I'm exploring... I'm still Jersey to the core and that includes a love for the music of Springsteen!
If it wasn't for one single song, I'd love that album all the way through! Excellent stuff with hints of Bruce goin' back to The River, even a touch of Born To Run here and there -- so sweet!
Hey Helen- I remembered that you were a Bruce fan! I love Magic and think it's his best album since "Tunnel of Love." I think my fav song is "Livin in the Future", reminds me a lot of "10th Ave Freeze-Out"
Best since Tunnel of Love? Whaaaaa??! No way. LOL!!! We all dig what we dig but... The Rising not as good as Tunnel of Love? Methinks even Human Touch is better than Tunnel but like I said, we all dig what we dig :)
Hey Now, I'm a south Jersey native who loves Bruce and I'm a lifelong Deadhead. Just had to give you a shout out! Found your blog via Ravelry (I'm weavingtheweb).
Hi Barbara,
Thanks for the holla! I can't find you on blogger but I'm watching out for you on ravelry!
Peace............
Keep up the good work.
