WHAT KIND OF DEMOCRACY EXCLUDES CANDIDATES?

SIGN THE PETITION TO KEEP THE DEBATES OPEN!!

This week the Des Moines Register decided to exclude Congressman Dennis Kucinich from the Iowa debate -- despite the fact that he met all of their published criteria.

Senator Mike Gravel and Congressman Ron Paul have also faced debate exclusions as well.

Yeah, that was messed up. And on top of that, they allowed Alan Keyes to debate with the Repubs for the first time. Whaaaaa?!?!

We live in a two party system... wow, 1 better than Communism. This country needs to stop being so exclusionary and open up the Presidency to MORE than just two parties with so many rules on who can and who cannot run. Got no more money? Oh, sorry, then I guess you're out of luck. Not a Dem or a Repub? Oh, sorry, you're out of luck, too.

Just ain't right. Third parties are considered a joke. (And this year in Iowa they even turned away a true Dem who's in it to win it!) It's true 3rd parties in the past and right now have next no chance to win... but come on, they still deserve every minute of attention and every opportunity that everyone else gets!

Gotta cut out the B.S. and allow EVERYONE a fair shake! Petition signed!
i signed it as well with the following comment:

While I am opposed to Kucinich and Paul, democracy must have open dialogue. To that end I am supportive of this petition and gladly sign it.
