Way to go Bev!

Opening on December 2 in NYC is I WANNA BE ROSIE, a cabaret play by Bev Petty, an impressionistic portrait of America’s sweetheart – “girl singer Rosemary Clooney – the best friend a song ever had.”
Bev is one of the kindest woman I know and I am so blessed to consider her a friend. She's talked of coming up for a visit since I left the city but still....no Bev. Well, I can see she's been keeping busy and I am so happy for her continued success.
Now Bev, you get out there and break a leg girl! (Miss you!)

More than an expression..........

This is beet red! The real thing. My bro-in-law is a great sport and let me plant beets in his garden this summer. I didn't know he HATED them as do his wife (hey sista!) and their kids. So, here I am on a Saturday night, baking and peeling beets. What can I say? I like 'em!

I ask you..........

I work for a company that manufactures and distributes leaf and lawn vacuums among other power equipment. Yes, this time of year they are backordered.
People call to check the status of their machine order and they are in panic mode!
"I'm sorry sir but your order has not shipped."
"BUT, MY LEAVES ARE FALLING!"
I just don't get why this is such a big problem. I mean, they still make rakes, don't they? Beside, I happen to think that leaves on the ground are a beautiful part of the season. I mean, is this so hard to look at? I'm sorry but I'm just not feelin' their pain. Seriously!

I just wanted to say
"Happy Birthday" to Tom.
We hang out some.
We do stuff.
Then we hang out more.
Sometimes we take a nap in between all that hanging out and doing stuff.

Momma got some new shoes!

OK, so I'm not a Mom but I like kids enough. And really, I know they're not shoes. Technically they're boots. My Mom bought them for me for my birthday. Actually I bought them for myself for my birthday. This much is true - I GOT 'EM!
