How can you NOT love Bruce? (don't answer that.) And I just love VH1 storytellers. I got this DVD as a Christmas gift and it is really wonderful for anyone that might be considering the purchase.
The Grammy's are Wednesday, Feb. 8, CBS , 8pm E/T. (ET/PT). Bruce will be performing and has been nominated for 5 awards.

Since I just tagged some of my regulars a few days ago, I've decided to tag 7 complete strangers. I finally decided to dowload a BITTORRENT client so I could download (and playback) SHNF and FLAC audio files. OK. So I needed WINAMP to play the FLAC files and I needed a compression tool to convert all files to WAV formats. OK. Got that too. The SHNF files convert fine but the tool doesn't convert FLAC. Need a plug-in. The WINAMP plug-in for FLAC doesn't work. SO, if anyone knows of a good FLAC converter or plug-in for either WINAMP or WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (I'd like to avoid codec packs. They never seem to work), please let me know. Without the FLAC I don't really need the WINAMP because I can play converted WAV audio on my WINDOWS. And at least there I know how to save and store the playlists. Did you get all that? Good and thanks for any help you can offer!

It was a cheap giggle!

Many broken finger nails which in all honesty, I really don't care about. I mean, like hair, they grow back. What I DO care about is the fact that they are beginning to thaw out now and.............Cheese and Rice! I am SO looking forward to banging on my keyboard all day at work tomorrow. Ouch! If anyone has a good tip that will stop these seals from freezing (and no, they don't need to be replaced. This car is notorious for having bad seals) please let me know. I read that you can rub soap on them. I sprayed some lemon pledge on there AFTER I poured the hot water on it to get it open. (Yes, I wiped them dry first)

I don't know what kind of cereal you eat but I'm willing to bet you have to eat a few more bowls of it to get all the vitamin's and mineral's I get in JUST ONE bowl of Total. It has long been my favorite cereal and this new flavor, Honey Clusters, is great! You should try it, seriously. And now, for the old 1-10:

This and other Aging Hipppie products are made right here in Vermont by Mountain Country Soap and they are amongst my favorite Christmas gifts this year. Now, I also got the Bath Fizz and the Soap but not all from the same person. Coincidence? I think not! Strange that they don't even know each other. I guess I really am aging. At least I'm smellin' good!

Best attitude - Poppy at Poppy Cedes. She blogs for all the right reasons. She blogs for herself. Just blogs for fun. And I really respect her for that.

Most Loyal - Jay over at One Way or Another. He's been visiting me here for some time now and I would really miss him if he disappeared. (So don't lose TOO much weight Jay!) He is followed ever so closely by Lil Red at Lip Schtick. Always enjoyable!

Best Related - My sista' Janet over at Cog Blog. She know's I love her through all of it.

Best Naked - By far, the best I've seen naked is Tom aka Spyder at Hallucinogenius. Actually, he's the ONLY one I've seen naked. Except if you count Jay on his Half-naked Tuesday's!

Most Missed - Loy at The Cameraphone Diaries moved in August and arrived safely at new destination. Current whereabouts unknown! Followed very closly by GPV of Waterlilies. Last sighting October. Hope both of you guys are safe and sound!

Best Find - Hands down has to be Mark at Knockin' on the Golden Door. And while a handful or two of us Deadhead Bloggers have rallied together, Mark is by far the glue that seems to hold us together. Rock on Brother!

Most Artistic - For me, visually, it's Euian at Hantojin. He's so talented and so YOUNG! And poetic kudos go out to Kojo who calls himself The Imperfect Poet. The guy's just got heart.

Of course, I visit everyone else on my sidebar regularly and enjoy them all or they wouldn't be there. Thanks for hanging around, all of you!

There was a 45 minute acoustic set that opened this show and we knew we were in for a late night. Admitedly, we left early (I suppose it's an age thing) but I look forward to downloading and hearing what I missed soon! Good show, great vibe and I found some great dance space even though this was a sold out show. Only the second time I have seen DSO but I am sure there will be more opportunity to see them in the future and I look forward to it.
