After months of frustration and begging for help.....

Casseopeia over at Room to Breathe came through for me and helped me solve the problem I had with my HUGH font while viewing this blog in IE. A tiny little closing of a tag and poof............adios mucho grande letters! Thanks again Cass! You are my hero!

Points, Schmoints!

There are a good number of regular competitors on Battle of the Blogs over at Blog Explosion (holla!). I am one of them but mostly put my other blog up there for the challenge. Well, sometimes I vote for the underdog. Sorry but it sucks to lose all the time and I don't vote for points. Granted, there are times when I vote for the best blog (and some favorites I always vote for!) but every now and then I get in a mood and like to give the gipper and "atta boy"!

Please give blood.
Don't wait until you or someone you know needs blood. Find a blood bank or drive and just go do it. Someone, somewhere needs it now. Seriously. And when your friends and family ask you about your sticker or bandage (or why you slept all afternoon!) let them know which organs you want to donate as well. Checking it off on you DL is not enough!

Now, THIS is gross!

We went outside for a little "field training" today and it was 98 out there. My "I gotta' quit smoking" patch began to fall off from the sweat. At first, no big deal. I'll get through the rest of the day just fine. Well, I started to get a little...........bitchy. This was the only logical solution. It worked and that's all I got to say about it!

After 30 years of working on my feet!

It's been hard adjusting to working in a cubicle, tethered to a headset all day. And I do mean, all day! I keep myself entertained by working out with small weights, knitting (need the practice) and eating chocolate. And, oh yeah, talking on the phone! (You'd think they could pipe some tunes into that head thingy!)

I have 6 nieces!

But this one is the only Redneck. Here she is rinsing off after a day of four-wheelin'. Next weekend she'll be at some hee-haw festival. I really don't know the name of it - some country western thing. Her sister went to Bonaroo a few weeks ago. They are less than a year apart in age. Amazing, their differences but both so beautiful!
